This practice was originally established by the principal, Michael Bottrill, in February 1998.

The practice is built on more than 30 years of Michael Bottrill’s own specialist knowledge of and commitment to Divorce and Family Law. The move in 1998 to his own practice enabled him to focus entirely on providing experienced, specialist advice on all Family Law matters. In addition to his extensive experience in acting for clients in Family Law, Michael has the experience of more than 10 years as a Deputy District Judge in the County Court, adjudicating on various disputes including divorce and Family Law cases, a most useful additional insight.

The practice has been in its present offices at 10-12 Love Lane, Pinner for almost 10 years. The highly competent team of Family Lawyers are committed to the philosophy of "Resolution", of which Michael Bottrill has been a member since shortly after its inception.

The solicitors in the firm have extensive, specialist experience and have all acted for clients from many different circumstances, varied backgrounds and cultures in divorce, separation and the breakdown of relationships and the far-reaching financial and other consequences.

We are accredited members of the Law Society Family Law Panel, or are accredited by Resolution, which ensures that we have been independently assessed as having relevant specialist good practice and experience in divorce and Family Law disputes.

Michael Bottrill, LLB, the principal, was admitted as a solicitor in 1975 and has practised principally in Family Law since his admission. Appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1990 and sat in that capacity until 2000.

MARY BAKER LLB Hons. Mary Baker is a highly qualified Senior Solicitor with particular expertise in complex ancillary relief matters . She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer, with specialisms in Advanced Financial Provision and Private Children Law. Mary is a member of the Law Society Family Panel

Zharna Sutaria L.L.M. was admitted as a Solicitor in March 1998. She has specialised in Divorce and Family Law since 1999. Zharna has extensive experience advising clients in all areas of Family Law. She is an Accredited Family Law Panel Member.

Michael Bottril is assisted by a Paralegal, Laura Stanley, who is training to become a Legal Executive. Laura will have background knowledge of your case and can assist with straight-forward enquiries.
